KALK Rødvig Kulekalk (Slaked Lime) is a range of products used as finishing treatments and whitewashing for buildings. It is slaked and stored in underground lime pits for at least two years. During this long-term storage, the lime is divided into fine particles—down to less than 0.01 mm—which is intended to give the slaked lime a good adherence and flexibility. Rødvig Slaked Lime products are designed to allow moisture vapor transmission through the walls due to capillary suction, improving heat insulation and the humidity conditions of the masonry.
